I'm a Wolf

Gabriel has enjoyed a wonderful year as a tiger scout and crossed the bridge, graduating up to Wolf status.  He can't wait for all the adventures to come and we love the wonderful role models and influences he is surrounded with. 

Toothless girl

Our baby has lost more teeth in the last month than I think Gabriel has lost yet.  4 teeth in the matter of weeks and luvin the toothy grin.

Memorial Day hike

Not much relaxation for us over Memorial day weekend but we did take a little time out to hike and rock climb out at Eau Claire Dells, one of the most beautiful places Wisconsin has to display.  Kids loved watching the tadpoles and the crawfish.

Snow makeup day-- Free Day!

Our schools plan in a snow make up day every year and the kids were lucky to get a free day off of school instead.  Had a chilly picnic and then lots of fun playing in a stream.  Went a bit against what I know was right taking the weather and the colds that have spread through our house but the kids had a great time watching sticks turn into boats sail away and I sitting back enjoying it all.

Forever in our lives

The kids and I took one (possibly the last) opportunity this weekend to visit my parents makin popcorn.  It's a bitter sweet memory right now as it could be the last time I see them do it.  Not sure how that makes me feel but the kids love to watch Papa pop his corn and kick his kettle.  Sweet memories and even sweeter treats for the ride home.

Innocent

The house felt and sounded strangely quiet following mother's day dinner with my family.  Imagine peering around the corner to find this sweet thing.  She's still my baby and moments like this only help to remind me of it.

Andrew Turns 4!

Celebrated a special boy's 4th birthday w/ wonderful family.  Andrew has grown up so fast and we had a great time celebrating and playing Mario.  The Mario cup cakes were the best and one can never get used to watching a 4 yr old tear into birthday gifts with shear abandonment.  Time seems to pass us by.  Need to stop and take it all in more often.

Special weekend visitor

We had a special sleep over this weekend with "baby Braden" as Ana refer's to him.  Got the taste of 3 little ones to cart around and settle in for the night. He was a perfect angel and Ana was in true heaven.  I don't know where the time has gone, just yesterday he was this brand new peanut and now he's rockin and rollin. 

Pampered Piggies

Ana got treated to her first real piggy painting this week.  Not a true pedicure but she didn't mind.  We both had to have the same color according to Ana and I was a bit nervous initially but she had pretty good taste.  Only wish my feet looked as nice as her's.  It was lots of fun.
